- Find a fishing rod. You’ll need a standard fishing rod. Search the docks and coastlines on the map. Do not forget to look for pontoons as well.

Find a shark and have it hooked! Sharks infest most of the coastlines. They can even attack you by jumping on land! Once you’ve spotted one follow the below steps:
– Throw your line so that the cork lands within one or two meters of the shark.
– Wait a few seconds.
– The shark will tangle his fin in the line and pull you to him. - Ride the shark and lead the shark. You’re the one who leads the way. You fully control the shark, and you can even accelerate or jump!
How to damage and loot sharks in Fortnite
In addition to riding sharks, one of the challenges for Week 1 of Season 3 is to Damage Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands. You can damage sharks by shooting at them, but they do have lots of health. It’ll take a while, but once you eliminate a shark then it will provide loot for you to pick up.
