Find my iPhone can be useful if you’ve lost your phone, but if you’re concerned about having your location tracked with the feature, you can turn it off. Here is how you can turn off Find my iPhone in your settings.
Steps
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
- Tap Find My.
- Tap Find my iPhone.
- Turn off the Find My iPhone On/Off toggle.
- It will prompt you to enter your Apple ID Password.
- Tap Turn Off.
Keep in mind that if you turn off Find My iPhone, you will no longer be able to locate your phone using the Find My iPhone app or website.
You can also keep in mind that no one else should be able to track your iPhone without your Apple ID’s username and password.
